The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS course with new science from the 2020 guidelines, trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. Reflects the science from the 2020 guidelines and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Anyone may take the course, however, the course is designed for those that work in medical settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, dentist offices, and those who are pharmacists and EMTs. This is a full classroom setting designed for all levels of experience from first time BLS students to experienced medical professionals.
You are required to have the current BLS Provider 2020 textbook for this course on the day of the class. If you already have one or plan to get one, you do not need to purchase one here. Otherwise, please choose the new BLS Provider 2020 book ticket. Books will be handed out at the beginning of the class.
